Your customers will now need to look for the well-known pink Klarna badge for Bank Transfer. In Germany and Austria, where there is a longer history with SOFORT, we will keep the Sofortüberweisung label and combine this with the pink Klarna badge.
Retail merchants can offer Pay by Bank Transfer as well as Pay Later options as long as it is part of the standard Klarna Payments offering for that market.
Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) is not available for regulated specialist merchants. This is because the regulations that govern these merchants are very strict and do not allow for the use of BNPL services. For more information, please contact your account manager at Klarna.
